Calerin Golf Club Review
An upscale Carrick and Andrew nine with 45 bunkers and green complexes worth the drive to Erin.

Nine holes, 3,229 yards, and a Doug Carrick and Ian Andrew routing that treats every one of them as if the land cost something. Calerin plays open and links-adjacent: scattered trees, native fescue framing the corridors, sculpted tee decks, and forty-five bunkers doing the strategic work that trees do on lesser courses. The green complexes are the reason to come back. They are big, tilted and fronted by short grass, so a miss leaves you a decision instead of a routine chip.
Playing it twice for eighteen is no chore, because the tee sets change the angles enough that the second loop asks different questions. Conditioning is the strongest part of the package: bent greens that roll quick and true, tight bluegrass fairways, and edges that look maintained rather than merely mowed. It walks easily over gentle rolls in well under two hours. The one knock is price per hole, since an upscale nine out here asks close to eighteen-hole money, but the golf mostly justifies it.
